*Data was obtained under the most severe condition with smaller shoulder radius of a 2V die.
*Number of bends was obtained without moving the position of the sheet. The sheet is 100mm wide, so by moving the position the sheet the life will be 4 to 5 times longer than the bending data in the table.
*The life can be increased further when using wider die with a bigger shoulder radius and also when the work edge is de-burred and free from dross.
*The texture pattern of the fabric can sometimes appear on the surface of softer material such Aluminium (52S). In such a case, increasing the V-width shoulder radius can eliminate this issue.
