Contouring Tool

These tools are able to perform special shape processing without the need of special tools for contouring.

• Nibbling is used to process special and R shapes that are not possible even with a combination of general purpose tools. Nibbling at a pitch greater than material thickness will require grinding or filing of the parts in a secondary process.
• These tools can process special shapes at low cost by combining general-purpose tools with contouring tools that can perform precise nibbling process with a 0.5-mm pitch even if not using special tools. Also, these tools do not need conventional filing work.

A difference of 0.03 mm is generated when carrying out nibbling process with a 0.5-mm pitch with contouring tools. Thus make sure that this difference is within its tolerance.
