R-Bend Air-Bend Type

SPCC : 0.6 - 2.3mm SUS : 0.6 - 2.0mm

This application is suitable for relatively smaller R-Bending. As various- size can be made by only punch replacement, this application provides versatility & cost-performance. On the other hand, this application can be affected by thickness or quality variation of the material. Another application is recommended for high-precision requirement.

Cautions

Marring

Marring appears if the work is not covered by protective sheet. Therefore the marring countermeasure has to be taken by such as urethane sheet and mark-free tape.

Check Machine Capacity

Be sure that required tonnage gained by equation above does not exceed the machine capacity.

Selection judgment

Guide line : Product inner radius ÷ thickness t ≤30 by air-Bending.
Example: Required product inner radius 30mm material thickness 0.8mm Guide line 30÷0.8 =37.5 exceeds 30.
Therefore Urethane type R-bend or Counter type R-Bend is recommended.

Product Accuracy

Accuracy of product R dimension R± 5% Example: Product R=30 mm 30x0.05 =1.5 Therefore R30±1.5mm
